Job description

Role overview

Focusrite Group’s education division helps connect classrooms with the professional audio world. The team supports schools, educators, and students with industry-grade tools such as audio interfaces, MIDI controllers, synths, speakers, and headphones, along with practical guidance and thought leadership content that helps learners build confidence and create meaningful work.

The Education & B2B Marketing Coordinator will drive education-focused and B2B brand-building campaigns, along with demand-generation efforts. The audience for these initiatives includes education stakeholders such as schools, campuses, teachers, administrators, and students, as well as B2B audiences including integrators and cross-brand professional partners.

This position also partners closely with the Focusrite Group Professional team, acting as the operational lead for events, demonstrations, and business development support. The role reports to the Director of Marketing and sits between marketing and business development, supporting lead-generation activity across North and Latin America for multiple Focusrite Group brands.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director of Marketing and the Focusrite Group Professional team to shape and assess the education marketing strategy and annual plan.
  • Build and manage education-market campaigns against defined KPIs, timelines, and budgets, coordinating with local and global marketing teams across Focusrite Group content-creation brands.
  • Research, organize, and keep current the yearly calendar of education-related digital and in-person events.
  • Coordinate event exhibition plans for selected conferences and, when needed, attend events in person.
  • Plan, promote, produce, and evaluate webinars for the Education and B2B audiences.
  • Review education-related sponsorship opportunities and donation requests, including negotiation where appropriate.
  • Own project management for EDU and D2C Expert Guides and case studies from concept through completion.
  • Research advertising opportunities and book placements that support campaign goals, while coordinating creative and copywriting assets for media partners, reviewers, bloggers, and editors.
  • Support dealer and distributor education, as well as integrator marketing communications across the Americas, ensuring product messaging remains accurate, relevant, and aligned with brand standards.
  • With guidance from the Director of Marketing, manage the US education budget by tracking spend, collecting invoices, and submitting them for payment.
  • Assist the Focusrite Group Professional team with planning and executing EDU and B2B events.
  • Arrange and track demo gear shipments, including immersive rig equipment, using FedEx or freight carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Process product seeding and demo orders in NetSuite, maintain proper loan records, follow policy requirements, and ensure timely returns.

What success in this role looks like

  • Turning ideas into fully executed programs, then measuring and reporting on outcomes.
  • Handling several priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders at once while staying organized and detail-focused.
  • Working well across teams and building strong relationships with colleagues, partners, dealers, educators, and customers.
  • Balancing creative campaign work with hands-on operational coordination.
  • Taking initiative, improving processes, solving problems early, and keeping work moving.
  • Using data, KPIs, and campaign objectives to guide decisions and evaluate impact.
  • Maintaining productivity and accountability in a remote work environment.
  • Contributing positively to a collaborative team culture that values flexibility and initiative.

Required qualifications

  • Strong interest in building a career in education marketing.
  • Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent organization and careful attention to detail.
  • Dependable follow-through and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of simultaneous tasks accurately.
  • Clear written and spoken communication skills.
  • Some experience writing polished, brand-appropriate marketing copy.
  • A self-directed, team-oriented attitude with a positive mindset.
  • Comfort adapting quickly when priorities change.
  • Background in event coordination, logistics, or another process-heavy role is an advantage.
