Position Overview

The Education and Artistry Executive role blends retail customer interaction with extensive field travel to manage sales execution and brand-building activities within stores. Primarily partnering with Boots, along with potential support to retailers like Sephora and SpaceNK, this position functions as a brand ambassador and mentor. It focuses on delivering exceptional product knowledge, advanced artistry and skincare skills, superior customer service, and effective sales techniques to enhance brand visibility and retail performance through in-store events and coaching sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve retail sales targets by promoting brand KPIs and supporting sales during store marketing events.
• Lead and organize in-store promotional events, ensuring timely reporting of outcomes and sales achievements.
• Establish and maintain strong connections with Boots store management and the Beauty Beauty Specialist (BBS) team.
• Support brand standards in in-store and retailer-led events.
• Collaborate with Area Managers to design seasonal store events and masterclasses.
• Inspire and coach the Boots BBS team to enhance their product knowledge, artistry capabilities, and sales effectiveness.
• Drive continuous retail sales growth across assigned store locations representing all Kendo Brands.
• Deliver retail and store standards reports weekly and monthly, promptly addressing visual merchandising, stock, or related issues.
• Manage and own the BBS in-store training program, delivering both face-to-face and virtual training sessions, individually and in groups.
• Support the creation of engaging, educational video content to facilitate learning.
• Assist the field team in executing inspiring in-store training that boosts artistry skills.
• Promote growth of core brand franchises and product launches through brand vision, artistry expertise, and essential product education.
• Ensure a superior customer experience by applying best practices in service and sales techniques.
• Adhere to company travel and expense policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular, clear communication with field sales partners, store management, and training teams through reports and updates on store-level activities.
• Travel is a significant component, requiring 60-70% time away, including possible overnight stays.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Highly passionate, enthusiastic, and inspirational with a strong commercial sales acumen.
• Ability to confidently build rapport quickly with in-store management, BBS teams, and customers.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
• Proven artistry skills with experience leading and organizing in-store events.
• Experienced coaching capabilities to motivate and develop retail teams.
• Flexibility to travel extensively, including overnight stays, as required by the role.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in task execution.
• Basic proficiency in computer use.
• Good knowledge of social media platforms, with an advantage for candidates able to create or edit video content.
