Position Overview

The Editorial Assistant will support the Senior/Principal Editorial Coordinator by delivering high-quality editorial and administrative assistance across multiple client projects within the healthcare domain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist daily with various editorial projects ensuring smooth operations.
  • Manage and maintain databases accurately and promptly using tools like Datavision, iEnvision, and Veeva.
  • Uphold stringent quality standards for all output materials produced by the company.
  • Collaborate closely with teams including medical, scientific, client services, and creative departments on diverse projects.
  • Understand editorial workflow processes such as work booking, briefing, timelines, and budgeting for different project types.
  • Alert line managers about potential scheduling or budgetary challenges and tasks beyond scope.
  • Acquire knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas and client brands to enhance editorial competence.
  • Stay updated with pertinent industry standards and guidelines.
  • Engage actively in internal progress meetings and external client discussions as needed.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and team dialogues to contribute ideas and solutions.
  • Ensure timely and precise submission of timesheets.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrates strong motivation, enthusiasm, and commitment to the role.
  • Holds a degree in Life Sciences or English Language.
  • Exhibits meticulous attention to detail in all tasks.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Has confident interpersonal skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Manages time effectively, organizing multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe products.
  • Familiarity with databases such as Datavision, iEnvision, and Veeva is advantageous.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare marketing and communications objectives.

Additional Information

  • Travel may be required according to business demands.
