Our Singapore office serves as the strategic hub for the Asia-Pacific region as we expand globally across major technology centers. We are assembling an agile and dynamic team focused on cultivating regional developer communities, building academic collaborations, and accelerating deep-tech adoption at the grassroots level.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Head of Singapore and Director of Business Development, the Ecosystem & Community Manager role is central to establishing and growing QpiAI’s presence and outreach within Singapore and the wider APAC region. This position is ideal for a proactive individual who excels at initiating and managing community-driven programs from inception. You will take full ownership of our developer and university engagement efforts, including organizing hackathons, technical discussions, talent pipelines, and industry events, as well as overseeing daily operations at the Singapore hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a vibrant regional community comprising developers, researchers, students, and enthusiasts focusing on QpiAI’s software tools and Quantum Computing as a Service.
• Plan, coordinate, and host technical meetups, developer workshops, guest lectures, and hackathons in collaboration with leading universities and tech hubs in the region.
• Serve as the main liaison for gathering developer feedback, facilitating user engagement, and onboarding users onto QpiAI platforms across APAC.
• Strategize and manage QpiAI’s involvement in major regional technology events such as SWITCH, ATxSG, GITEX, and other quantum computing symposiums, overseeing logistics, booth setup, speaker arrangements, and side events to enhance brand exposure among industry and government stakeholders.
• Establish robust partnerships with university student groups, research laboratories, and career centers in Singapore (including NUS, NTU, SUTD, SMU) as well as other key universities in the region.
• Lead student engagement initiatives, university outreach programs, and talent acquisition drives aimed at building a sustainable talent pipeline for QpiAI.
• Support the daily operations of QpiAI’s Singapore office, acting as the primary contact for visitors, academic partners, and event collaborators, ensuring smooth office workflows.
• Assist regional leadership by managing onboarding logistics, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining administrative processes to keep the Singapore hub efficient and agile.

Requirements

• Possess 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in community management, developer relations, event planning, or ecosystem development within environments such as tech accelerators, innovation agencies, university incubators, or early-stage startups.
• Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end events ranging from small-scale meetups and university talks to large conferences and hackathons.
• Well-connected with Singapore’s startup ecosystem, university circles, and technology communities, with strong interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and an ability to collaborate effectively.
• Exhibit a startup mentality characterized by resourcefulness, meticulous organization, and adaptability to fast-changing and multitasking work environments.
• Show enthusiasm for learning about Quantum Computing and AI and capability to communicate complex technology subjects into compelling programs for community engagement; a formal technical qualification is an asset but not mandatory.
