Job description
Candidate Profile
- A Bachelor's degree or B.Ed. in Early Childhood Education or a related qualification is required.
- Applications are also welcome from those with credentials in psychology, social work, primary education, or early years care.
- Prior experience working with children is preferred.
- The ideal candidate is open-minded, creative, highly driven, and maintains a positive attitude while following daily daycare routines.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and relationship-building skills are essential, along with excellent communication to interact effectively with colleagues, parents, and children.
- Proficiency in English at an advanced level (C1/C2) is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Organizing and executing the daily routines and childcare activities for the group.
- Introducing children to different cultures and the target language in a bilingual setting.
- Maintaining regular communication and fostering positive relationships with parents.
- Adhering to the co-construction approach and encouraging free play opportunities.
- Implementing the bilingual concept of 'One person, one language'.
- Planning and carrying out educational projects and activities.
- Facilitating the acclimatization process for new children joining the group.
- Participating actively in team meetings within own group and the broader team.
