Job description
About the Company
A1 is building a proactive smart assistant for everyday users. The goal is to make routine digital work more intelligent across conversations, errands, organisation, and workflows, while requiring very little prompting from the user.
The product is designed for dependable long-running workflows, persistent context, and completing real-world tasks. It must be able to handle multi-step reasoning, work with external tools, and stay reliable even when model outputs are unpredictable. The aim is to help users finish daily tasks with roughly 90% less time spent.
Role Overview
This position supports recruiting across A1’s product, engineering, and business teams. It is a practical, execution-heavy role suited to someone at the start of their career who wants to learn how strong technical hiring is done in a real environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the full hiring cycle for different roles, including sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, and offer coordination.
- Find candidates through several channels such as LinkedIn, referrals, job boards, and direct outreach.
- Review resumes and run early-stage candidate screens to evaluate basic fit, motivation, and communication ability.
- Manage interview logistics, calendars, and feedback follow-ups with candidates and hiring managers.
- Keep candidate data accurate and current in the ATS, with a focus on process consistency and clean records.
- Contribute to recruiting initiatives and process enhancements as the team grows, including work that improves candidate experience and employer branding.
- Help maintain organised, responsive hiring operations that move efficiently.
Requirements
- 0 to 2 years of experience in recruiting, HR, operations, coordination, or a similar field; recent graduates with a strong interest in recruiting are also encouraged to apply.
- Good organisational ability and a careful eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort using Google Sheets or Excel, along with basic ATS tools.
- Self-driven, open to learning, and willing to take feedback constructively.
- Able to handle several tasks at once and complete work dependably.
- Previous recruiting exposure is useful but not mandatory; curiosity, attitude, and execution are more important.
Why Join
- Build a foundation in technical recruiting within a small team that holds a high standard.
- Work directly with experienced recruiters, engineers, and hiring managers.
- Get meaningful ownership and responsibility from the beginning.
- Operate in a flat environment where initiative and delivery matter more than hierarchy.
- Opportunity to grow into Talent Partner, Recruiter, or specialised technical hiring positions.
- Competitive pay and opportunities for career development.
Additional Information
This is a full-time onsite role based in the United States. The compensation details, number of openings, start date, and application deadline were not specified in the source.
