Job description

Role overview

As an E-Commerce Executive with Valiram in Singapore, you will support day-to-day online business operations across locations by coordinating stock, orders, and logistics with a regional 3PL partner. The role also involves handling operational data, following up on delivery and return issues, and helping the team maintain smooth customer service across email, phone, and chat.

Core responsibilities

  • Track and support e-commerce performance using key metrics such as GMV, net sales, traffic, conversion rate, and average order value.
  • Contribute to monthly sales and marketing plans, including localisation-focused campaigns for the local market.
  • Help attract new customers while encouraging repeat purchases from existing buyers.
  • Work with the marketing team to extend channel reach and improve visibility.
  • Assist with ideas and rollout of new features or improvements that strengthen the online shopping experience.
  • Collect competitor information and market insights to support business decisions.
  • Recommend stock transfers between the warehouse and e-commerce channel to reduce out-of-stock situations.
  • Monitor incoming and replenishment shipments, and escalate inventory risks to the manager in a timely manner.
  • Review open and pending orders to reduce delays, order backlogs, and refund cases.
  • Coordinate deliveries, returns, refunds, and on-ground logistics for all e-commerce orders.
  • Join weekly calls, track action items, and ensure timely follow-through.
  • Handle additional tasks assigned by the manager or department as needed.
  • Partner closely with 3PL and shipping providers to make sure orders are dispatched on time and status updates are monitored regularly.
  • Respond to customer concerns related to orders, deliveries, and missing items.
  • Contact customers when needed to resolve delivery issues, product-order concerns, or ad hoc queries.
  • Prepare regular reports for management on data trends and operational performance.

Requirements

  • A diploma or degree in any discipline is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a similar function.
  • Experience in e-commerce or online marketplace operations will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong people skills and the ability to communicate well with internal teams and external partners.
  • Good analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and close attention to detail.
  • Well-developed planning, coordination, and time management capabilities.
  • A friendly, positive, and customer-oriented approach.
  • Strong spoken and written English is essential.
  • Knowledge of additional languages will be beneficial.
