About the Role
A prominent food manufacturing company in Accra is looking for an ambitious and result-focused E-commerce and Digital Sales Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding the company's online sales, enhancing its digital footprint, and fostering customer engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee and update the company’s e-commerce website and digital storefronts.
- Boost online sales by implementing digital marketing initiatives and promotional strategies.
- Manage social media channels and produce compelling, customer-focused content.
- Supervise online order management ensuring prompt fulfillment.
- Enhance website content for search engine optimization and improved user experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, collect feedback, and maintain the company’s online reputation.
- Use analytics tools to monitor website traffic, sales metrics, and evaluate digital campaign success.
- Develop and nurture partnerships with online marketplaces and delivery services.
- Assist in launching new products and executing digital branding campaigns.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required.
- Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or online sales roles.
- Previous work experience within the food, FMCG, or consumer goods sectors is advantageous.
- Comprehensive understanding of e-commerce platforms, social media marketing, SEO, Google Analytics, and digital advertising techniques.
- Excellent communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and customer service orientation.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
