Job Overview

As a Duty Supervisor based in Riyadh, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing airport operations during your shift, ensuring all activities meet company standards, regulatory requirements, safety, security, and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all passenger and aircraft handling procedures throughout the shift, ensuring compliance with all operational checklists, brand protocols, internal policies, and regulatory laws.
- Take charge of safety and security by identifying hazards, monitoring compliance, and reporting on safety metrics during operational hours.
- Coordinate and fulfill requirements related to special guests, such as VIPs, PRM, and those with additional assistance needs, including planning and assessment.
- Collaborate effectively with Guest Control, Network Control, and the SOC to handle operational disruptions and minimize impact on service and operations.
- Maintain and exercise the station's emergency response plans, disruption management, flight diversion or delay strategies, and business continuity protocols.
- Ensure on-time performance by managing coordination, mitigating delays, reporting, and following up on operational disruptions.
- Promote and oversee airport ancillary sales processes, adherence to standards, and achievement of related targets.
- Drive and monitor customer service standards, ensuring performance aligns with KPIs.
- Ensure full compliance with local authority requirements, including accurate arrival and departure documentation and reporting.
- Make tactical operational decisions during shifts to address safety and security risks through thorough evaluation of threats and hazards.
- Report safety and security incidents promptly in line with company and local regulatory protocols.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Preferably hold a degree-level education such as A-levels or baccalaureate, or equivalent relevant experience in a related industry.
- Demonstrated experience in supervisory roles within dynamic, multicultural, and high-pressure shift environments.
- Possess 5 to 7 years of professional experience in service, hospitality, airline, or retail sectors, with sound understanding of aviation, travel industry practices, and airport operational policies.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, supervisory expertise, maturity, and a dedication to excellent customer service delivery.
- Capable of balancing focus on guest experience with company interests while upholding the highest safety and security standards throughout shift operations.
