Officer Corporate Strategy - UAE National Only

Overview

Become a valuable member of Etihad's Corporate Strategy team, contributing significantly to strategic initiatives, business performance analysis, and executive reporting. This position offers a chance to engage closely with senior leadership decisions while utilizing strong analytical, research, and communication expertise within a dynamic strategy environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough market, industry, and competitor research to inform strategy development.
• Aggregate, validate, and organize data from both internal operations and external sources.
• Assist in benchmarking activities and gathering relevant information to support strategic goals.
• Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefing documents.
• Maintain and update research databases, tracking systems, and strategic reference materials.
• Analyze business performance, market trends, and identify strategic opportunities to support decision-making.
• Contribute to business case development, financial evaluations, and scenario planning.
• Coordinate data collection and input from stakeholders across strategic projects.
• Monitor ongoing strategic projects and maintain accurate status and progress trackers.
• Provide research and analysis assistance for miscellaneous requests from the strategy team.
• Support preparation of presentations and materials for leadership and strategy reviews.
• Assist enterprise-wide planning and strategy assessment activities.
• Maintain dashboards, trackers, and tools used in strategic reporting.
• Ensure precision and consistency in data used for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to the compilation of materials for Board, Strategy & Investment Committee, and shareholder meetings.
• Coordinate inputs from various business and finance units for governance documentation.
• Review submissions for accuracy, completeness, and consistency prior to distribution.
• Organize and manage supporting documentation and maintain governance records.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Strategy, or Business Management is required.
• Minimum of three years experience in corporate strategic consulting, corporate strategy, finance, or related sectors with proven skill in structured analysis and executive-level communication.
• Strong capability in dissecting complex problems into clear frameworks and actionable recommendations.
• Experience in the airline, transportation, or infrastructure sectors is preferred.
• Expertise in developing advanced financial models, preferably using Excel or similar tools.
• Excellent written and visual communication abilities for distilling complex information into succinct documents.
• High attention to detail, analytical thoroughness, and delivery of quality outputs.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while managing priorities and engaging senior stakeholders.
