Role Overview

This vacancy is for the position of Duty Manager – Front Office at Jumeirah Jabal Omar. The Duty Manager will oversee front office operations to ensure they meet Jumeirah's service and strategic standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily front office and property operations aligning with brand service standards.
  • Perform regular room inspections to verify availability and adherence to operational policies.
  • Facilitate departmental coordination to enhance cooperation and service quality.
  • Participate in daily briefings and communications to keep teams informed and aligned.
  • Manage booking processes and effectively handle overbooking situations.
  • Oversee the cleanliness and presentation of lobby and entrance areas, liaising with housekeeping and concierge teams.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in front office roles, with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or duty manager capacity at a luxury five-star hotel.
  • Strong leadership qualities, guest relations expertise, conflict resolution aptitude, and sound decision-making skills.
  • Thorough understanding of front office operations, guest service standards, and hotel management systems.
  • Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional languages is favorable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to lead diverse teams and enhance guest experiences.
