Role Overview
The role of Duty Manager at Jumeirah Emirates Towers presents an exciting leadership opportunity within the Front Office division. As the overnight management representative, the Duty Manager ensures seamless guest services and operational efficiency during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the resort’s authorized manager throughout overnight hours, overseeing all Front Office activities to guarantee guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with Front Office policies and procedures among overnight team members.
- Maintain detailed records of significant incidents and notable information within the guest feedback logs.
- Handle demanding situations such as managing overbooking scenarios, processing emergency guest visas, and liaising with other departments to maintain lobby cleanliness and standards.
- Assist Team Leaders with duties including managing group check-ins and verifying registration cards.
- Document critical incidents, evaluate guest data entry quality, and promptly escalate issues to the Assistant Front Office Manager to drive ongoing improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses 1 to 3 years' experience in the Rooms Division within distinguished five-star luxury hotel brands.
- Has at least two years of leadership experience in a Front Office environment.
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related discipline from a reputable, accredited university.
- Demonstrates strong proficiency with Opera Front Office software applications.
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English.
