Role Overview

We seek a dedicated Driver/Escort to ensure safe and timely transportation of children to and from Cumberland School, a specialist provision for pupils with special educational needs. This role emphasizes establishing trustful and positive relationships with students and parents, maintaining safety and monitoring pupil behavior during transit.

Working Hours and Salary

The shifts scheduled for this position are mornings from 6:30 AM to 9:00 AM and afternoons from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM. The pay range offered is between £24,796 and £25,185 annually, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Drive pupils safely to and from school adhering to the scheduled shift times.
• Maintain appropriate behavior and wellbeing of children under care during the transportation period.
• Use various online tools to log communications with parents and record pupil concerns efficiently.
• Create and nurture positive relationships with students, their families, and school staff.

Candidate Profile
