Role Overview

We are seeking a positive and energetic Drive Thru Team Member to join our busy Petone Drive Thru operations. This role involves hands-on responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, serving as the initial contact point for customers, ensuring they receive the right products swiftly and accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver top-notch customer service to both Trade and DIY clientele
• Offer detailed product information and technical advice
• Pick, load, and restock merchandise efficiently
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized Drive Thru area
• Operate effectively within a high-volume setting

Candidate Profile

• Dependable and well-organized individual who thrives in a physical, customer-facing position
• Positive mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Physically fit with the capability to lift, carry, and move stock items
• Previous customer service experience preferred but not mandatory
• Possession of a valid full New Zealand Driver Licence
• Forklift (F) endorsement and OSH Forklift Certificate are advantageous or willingness to obtain them
• Keen interest in expanding knowledge about building materials and products
• Strong commitment to Health & Safety standards and safe work practices
• Comfortable utilizing IT systems

Additional Details

Availability is required for part-time shifts on Mondays and Saturdays. Mitre 10 MEGA maintains a strict drug and alcohol-free workplace policy, with successful candidates needing to pass pre-employment screening.
