About the Role
We are seeking motivated Food & Beverage personnel to join the team at Woomera Village, situated within the Woomera RAAF base in northern South Australia. These positions are offered on a drive in drive out (DIDO) basis with a roster of 14 days on followed by 7 days off, providing ample working hours along with competitive remuneration. Successful candidates will be accommodated on-site with all meals included. Due to the DIDO nature of this role, applicants must hold a valid driver’s licence and have a dependable vehicle for commuting to and from the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant and café environment
- Provide table service and hospitality operations including bar service (RSA certification required)
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks
- Support general cleaning duties such as clearing tables and restocking supplies
- Handle cash and electronic payments efficiently
- Participate in housekeeping duties within hotel accommodation
- Collaborate with team members and support other departments when required
Requirements
- Previous experience in food & beverage or housekeeping within a busy hospitality setting, preferably in a hotel
- Possession of a current driver's licence and reliable vehicle for travel
- Required to undertake pre-employment medical checks and drug and alcohol screening
- RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification mandatory
- Barista skills are advantageous but not essential
Working Conditions & Benefits
- Work schedule involves 12-hour shifts over two-week swings followed by a one-week break
