Company Overview
Precise Metal Products Pty Ltd is a manufacturer specializing in custom architectural perforated screens, facade elements, fencing systems, and sheet-metal components for commercial, residential, and public projects based in Bassendean.
Role Summary
This hands-on position involves moving projects from architectural and engineering concepts through to manufacturing and installation stages. The Draftsperson / CAD-CAM Detailer will prepare shop and fabrication drawings, create 3D models, generate CAM files for CNC machines, assist production teams, and produce installation documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed fabrication and shop drawings from architectural and structural information.
- Develop accurate 3D models suitable for manufacturing processes.
- Produce CAM files required for CNC machinery operation.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth workflow and support fabrication tasks.
- Prepare and organize documentation needed for installation phases of projects.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of experience in drafting, detailing, or a related manufacturing field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the ability to interpret architectural, structural, and fabrication drawings.
- Full, unrestricted right to work in Australia is mandatory.
Additional Information
This is a full-time role working Monday through Friday located onsite in Perth, Western Australia. The position offers the chance to engage with a variety of architectural and custom manufacturing projects.
