Role Overview
Al Marwan Developments is looking for an experienced Document Controller to oversee project records and documentation. The role focuses on keeping documents accurate, well-organized, distributed on time, and aligned with construction project documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Keep project document logs current and properly maintained.
- Handle documentation using Aconex, Google Drive, and other electronic document management systems.
- Apply correct document numbering, formatting, and version management practices.
- Share IFC drawings and project files with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor submissions, approvals, revisions, and the overall flow of documents.
- Assist with As-Built records and support project closeout and handover documentation.
- Organize and preserve both electronic and paper-based document archives.
- Provide day-to-day document control support to project teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of document control experience in the UAE construction sector.
- Practical experience with Aconex and Google Workspace.
- Understanding of document requirements related to UAE authorities.
- Strong planning, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Capability to perform effectively under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
- Preference will be given to candidates who can join immediately.
