Dispensing Optician

Role Overview

Vision Express is looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician who is registered with the GOC and ready to progress their career within a major UK eyecare business. This position is based in Nottingham and offers the chance to work with well-known eyewear labels such as Ray-Ban, Oakley, and Prada.

In this role, you will create tailored eyewear recommendations, guide customers on suitable frames and lenses, and work closely with the store team to help deliver high-quality eyecare and customer service.

What You’ll Need

The ideal candidate should have a solid grasp of prescriptions and the unique eyecare needs of each customer. Strong interpersonal skills are important, along with the ability to support customers confidently and professionally. You should also understand current optical trends and relevant regulations, pay close attention to detail, and work well as part of a team. Prior experience in dry eye or myopia management would be an added advantage.
