Director/Sr. Director, Global Demand and Supply Chain

Position Summary

The Senior Director of Global Demand and Supply Chain is responsible for leading and optimizing worldwide demand forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless fulfillment across international markets. This leadership role demands strategic insight, broad industry expertise, and operational excellence within supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute strategies to enhance demand prediction, inventory control, and supply chain processes that meet global business needs.
• Partner with departments such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations to synchronize demand and supply planning with corporate goals.
• Guide and support a team of supply chain professionals, fostering continuous improvement and effective plan implementation.
• Track and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions promptly.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to guarantee timely product and material deliveries.
• Manage risks related to geopolitical events, compliance standards, and disruptions in the supply chain network.
• Drive the adoption of innovative technologies that improve supply chain transparency, responsiveness, and resilience.
• Provide senior management with detailed reports and briefings on the state of global demand and supply chain activities.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive professional experience in relevant fields.
• Certifications such as APICS or Six Sigma are advantageous.
• Strong grasp of demand forecasting techniques, inventory optimization, and supply chain best practices.
• Advanced analytical capabilities for interpreting complex datasets and deriving strategic insights.
• Exceptional leadership qualities with the ability to engage and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proven success in enhancing operational performance within fast-moving, global environments.
• Strategic foresight in anticipating market developments, identifying risks, and formulating contingency plans.
• Experienced in supply chain software, ERP platforms, and advanced data analytics tools.
