Role overview
This senior, customer-facing insights leadership role sits at the crossroads of strategy, business development, and growth execution for an important customer of The Coca-Cola Company. Reporting to the Head of Strategy, Insights & Innovation, the position is responsible for turning complex information into clear, persuasive insight stories that influence customer decisions and support aggressive annual growth goals.
The role acts as the main insights partner to Business Development Senior Directors and helps define, size, rank, and co-develop in-market growth opportunities with key partners. It requires close cross-functional collaboration to ensure a broad and well-rounded insight foundation.
Success in this role depends on the ability to simplify complexity, combining multiple data inputs, competitive signals, and consumer understanding into narratives that are easy to act on. Strong experience with syndicated, proprietary, and customer data, agency leadership, consultative influence, executive-level communication, and the confidence to engage senior stakeholders are all essential.
Key responsibilities
- Act as the lead insights expert for the Field organization.
- Deliver practical recommendations based on channel trends, competitive activity, emerging patterns, and estimated business impact.
- Use North America Operating Unit data and insight resources to build fact-based growth and selling plans.
- Lead primary research when needed to close knowledge gaps, strengthen competitive advantage, and position Coca-Cola as a beverage, QSR, and consumer insights authority.
- Prepare and share insights that help present both the customer and The Coca-Cola Company as trusted strategic partners to field offices, business units, owner/operator leaders, affinity groups, and local agencies.
- Maintain the customer knowledge library with support from Category Insights and Marketing teams.
- Work with NAOU and FSOP Insights teams to convert enterprise insights into customer-relevant actions.
- Stay engaged with leadership so insights and analytics are used in business decisions.
- Collaborate across Sales, Finance, Marketing, and the wider NAOU insights, strategy, and brand communities.
- Work confidently with internal and syndicated sources such as BEACH, Circana, Nielsen, Numerator, Zappi, and similar tools, and adapt quickly to new platforms for analysis and storytelling.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience in strategy, insights, brand, customer, business intelligence, and/or guest research.
- Background in data-led decision making and analytics.
- MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in marketing analytics and/or guest research is preferred.
- Consumer packaged goods experience is preferred.
- Consulting experience is preferred.
- Experience working with QSR/FSOP customers in a customer-facing capacity is preferred.
- Knowledge of the Coca-Cola system is preferred.
- Familiarity with both the U.S. and Canadian markets is preferred.
- Applicants must be able to verify identity and authorization to work in the United States and complete Form I-9 at hire.

- Creates memorable narratives that hold audience attention.
- Influences stakeholders by inspiring action and aligning people around a direction.
Location and travel
The role is based in Atlanta, Georgia, with regular business travel to Chicago, Illinois, and Canada. It is expected to be in the office or with the customer about 50% of the time, with travel of up to 25%.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this role in the United States is USD 141,000 to USD 165,200 per year. Pay may differ based on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full package of medical, financial, and other benefits is available, depending on the position.
The annual incentive reference value is 30%, and the long-term incentive reference value is 0% to 20%.
