Director, Regional Integrated Business Planning, APAC

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Supply Chain for APAC, this critical leadership position oversees the governance, enhancement, and execution of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) framework across the Asia-Pacific region. The Director ensures strict alignment with global IBP standards, financial strategies, and regional priorities while delivering measurable business performance improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and own the APAC IBP roadmap, defining maturity goals, adoption targets, and executive governance protocols.
• Develop and enforce standardized planning policies, KPIs, and governance models aligned with global frameworks and regional needs.
• Facilitate monthly IBP cycles, integrating demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning with clear communication of risks and opportunities.
• Drive consensus across commercial, operations, and finance functions to support executive decision-making, including managing trade-offs related to inventory, capacity, and service levels.
• Implement and oversee inventory optimization efforts, including reduction programs, segmentation strategies, and collaboration with finance to enhance working capital performance.
• Manage regional responses to supply disruptions and demand fluctuations, performing scenario planning and risk mitigation.
• Champion the adoption of advanced planning technologies such as SAP IBP and Power BI and lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance forecasting and decision support.
• Build and lead a high-performing APAC planning team by establishing clear accountabilities, developing talent, and fostering continuous improvement and innovation culture.
• Collaborate extensively across supply chain, commercial, finance, and other key functions to ensure integrated planning and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business with a focus on Supply Chain or a related field; advanced degrees in supply chain, business, engineering, or finance are advantageous.
• Minimum of 12 years in supply chain roles within multinational companies, including at least 7 years in leadership positions overseeing planning or operations.
• Proven track record managing regional or global planning processes, driving supply chain transformation initiatives, and leading executive S&OP/IBP forums.
• Strong expertise in integrating demand, supply, inventory, and financial planning enhanced by solid experience in analytics, ERP platforms, and executive reporting.
