Position Overview

This leadership role is designed for a seasoned expert in quality assurance and performance improvement dedicated to enhancing behavioral health and crisis support services on a nationwide scale. The Director will lead strategic quality initiatives throughout national service networks, assuring the provision of compliant, data-driven, and superior care experiences. Collaborating in a mission-focused setting, this professional will manage quality monitoring systems, utilize analytical and AI-assisted tools, and engage with internal and external partners to optimize outcomes. The role offers a chance to influence nationwide programs, establish best practices, and impact communities directly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and steer quality monitoring and continuous advancement initiatives across multifaceted crisis and support services, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.
  • Create and deploy performance measurement structures, conduct operational audits, and administer reporting processes to evaluate program efficiency and highlight enhancement areas.
  • Interpret data, both internal and external, to detect trends, acknowledge best practices, and pinpoint areas requiring adjustments; convert insights into executable recommendations.
  • Champion quality improvements across varied service types to maintain consistency, safety, and service excellence.
  • Supervise investigations, compliance audits, and reviews ensuring prompt execution of feedback resulting in sustainable advancements.
  • Partner actively with government bodies, network associates, vendors, and internal departments to elevate service quality and fulfill strategic goals.
  • Lead the adoption of AI-driven quality monitoring technologies and support innovative projects enhancing operational efficiency and informed decision-making.
  • Act as a representative of the organization in meetings, conferences, and engagements with stakeholders; additionally, mentor and nurture quality teams and subordinates.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree mandatory; Master’s in Healthcare, Public Health, Social Sciences, or related fields preferred. Clinical licensure is a beneficial advantage.
  • Between 5 to 10 years of leadership experience in domains such as quality improvement, assurance, compliance, or performance management.
  • Proficient in analyzing complex datasets, preparing reports, and delivering strategic recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Background in behavioral health, mental health, crisis intervention, nonprofit or similar social service sectors is highly advantageous.
  • Well-versed in regulatory standards (local, state, federal) and quality improvement strategies.
  • Excellent skills in communication, presenting ideas, and managing relationships with senior leaders, policymakers, and external partners.
  • Experienced in formulating policies, procedures, performance documentation, and continuous quality improvement frameworks.
  • Strong leadership acumen, collaborative spirit, adaptable in agile settings; certifications like Lean or Six Sigma add value.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments and leading cross-departmental projects.
