Job description

Role overview

This is a senior operations leadership opportunity for a fast-scaling consumer brand operating across multiple channels. The role is focused on creating and strengthening the full operational foundation that keeps products moving smoothly from suppliers to customers.

You will be responsible for supply chain, logistics, inventory control, and fulfillment planning across North America. A key part of the job is turning business growth plans into practical, scalable execution while balancing operational discipline with commercial priorities.

The position plays a central role in the expansion of U.S. operations, the development of strong 3PL partnerships, and the improvement of cross-border fulfillment workflows. It is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategy, problem-solving, and day-to-day operational execution.

You will work closely with senior leaders to simplify systems, remove friction, and protect the customer experience. The environment is entrepreneurial, highly collaborative, sustainability-minded, and focused on continuous improvement.

Key accountabilities

  • Set and drive the overall operations strategy covering supply chain, logistics, inventory, and fulfillment across Canada and the United States.
  • Oversee inbound transportation from suppliers to 3PL facilities, with a focus on freight performance, cost control, and efficient movement of goods.
  • Manage 3PL partnerships, including performance monitoring, SLA oversight, business review preparation, and resolution of operational issues.
  • Lead forecasting, peak-period preparation, and capacity planning so the business is ready for high-volume demand periods.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and KPI reporting that give leadership clear visibility into operational performance.
  • Work with Finance on budgeting, freight spend analysis, and initiatives that improve cost-to-serve.
  • Design and document scalable processes, SOPs, and operating systems that can support growth and new sales channels, including DTC and emerging platforms.
  • Investigate fulfillment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve speed, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Support the growth and structure of the operations team by building accountability and performance standards.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams on launches, demand planning, and expansion projects.

Candidate profile

  • More than 7 years and up to 10+ years of experience in eCommerce, DTC operations, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment, with exposure to senior leadership responsibilities.
  • Hands-on experience managing 3PL providers and operating across multi-node fulfillment networks at scale.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain execution, including forecasting, inventory planning, and fulfillment optimization.
  • Practical experience using OMS and WMS platforms, along with advanced ability in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional operational programs that improve cost efficiency, speed, and accuracy.
  • Experience planning for peak seasons, including demand forecasts, staffing, and carrier capacity requirements.
  • Strong commercial understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with Finance, Product, and Marketing.
  • Cross-border operations experience in the U.S. and Canada is highly desirable; familiarity with customs and import processes is a plus.
  • Confident leadership, strong communication, and practical problem-solving skills, with a bias toward execution.
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-moving environment where priorities and ambiguity can change quickly.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers an annual salary of USD 125,000 to USD 175,000, plus a performance-based bonus opportunity.

  • 3 weeks of paid vacation and 5 additional flexible days
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Annual wellness support for menstrual and period health needs
  • Yearly product allowance for company merchandise
  • Home office setup stipend
  • Remote-first working style with occasional travel for events, photoshoots, and retreats
  • Exposure to a rapidly growing, mission-led consumer brand
  • Chance to build operational systems from the ground up
