Director of Technology

About the Role

A well-established and prominent organization based in Arlington, VA is looking to add a Director of Technology to its executive team. This leadership role is charged with spearheading the IT strategy, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and the company's business objectives, and managing the IT services department. The position also entails oversight of the technology project portfolio, directing security and compliance programs, handling vendor relationships, and administering significant IT budgets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies that support company goals.
• Lead and manage the IT services team to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the portfolio of technology projects to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Direct the organization’s security and compliance efforts.
• Manage vendor partnerships and negotiate contracts.
• Administer large-scale IT budgets prudently and effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive IT leadership experience.
• Prior senior-level leadership within a large organization or association is essential.

Additional Information

• The position offers a targeted compensation package of up to $200,000 plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
• This is a hybrid role, requiring three days per week on-site in Arlington, VA.
