Role Overview
As the Director of Talent and Culture, you will be an integral member of the property’s executive leadership, collaborating closely with the Managing Director and department heads. Your leadership of the Talent and Culture function will support a dedicated, high-performing workforce and cultivate a culture that embodies Rosewood's values. Your strategic efforts will focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and promoting a culture of accountability, inclusion, and ongoing development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive Talent and Culture strategy aligned with the business’s strategic goals.
- Act as a strategic partner with senior leadership to strengthen organizational capability and elevate performance.
- Lead efforts to foster an engaged, inclusive, and welcoming workplace environment.
- Manage end-to-end talent acquisition processes to attract and retain high-quality employees.
- Oversee the delivery of learning and development programs that facilitate career advancement and succession planning.
- Ensure robust employee relations management aligned with local employment laws and brand standards.
- Drive performance management systems that promote accountability and high standards.
- Utilize people analytics and insights to guide data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Experienced leader with a strategic and commercially focused mindset in Talent and Culture.
- Background in hospitality or service-oriented sectors is essential.
- Proven capability to influence and engage with senior stakeholders effectively.
- Deep commitment to building inclusive, engaging workplace cultures.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams effectively.
- Adept at balancing day-to-day operational needs with long-range strategic planning.
- Resilient and adaptive, demonstrating sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
