Role overview

This opportunity is for a senior talent acquisition leader to guide a large recruiting function for a multi-state healthcare organization. The business hires around 3,000 employees each year and is recognized as a top performer in its specialty, with strong clinical outcomes and a meaningful impact on patient care. The position is designed for someone who enjoys building teams, shaping recruiting strategy, and helping people grow in their careers.

The role requires availability across both Central and Eastern time zones.

What the role involves

  • Leading a team of 40 people, including 5 direct reports.
  • Managing and improving high-volume recruiting operations.
  • Supporting team development and helping leaders grow their people.
  • Using data, reporting, and metrics to guide decisions.
  • Working closely with senior leadership and multiple market or operations leaders.
  • Strengthening team performance so recruiting stays aligned with business demand.
  • Applying AI-driven recruiting tools, including Phenom People, to improve high-volume hiring.
  • Building and executing recruiting strategy in a structured, operational way.

What the client is looking for

  • Experience leading other leaders and managing high-volume talent acquisition.
  • A track record of developing team members and elevating performance.
  • Comfort using analytics and workforce metrics to make decisions.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives and operational stakeholders.
  • Background in large organizations, preferably with revenue above $1B.
  • Success in complex, fast-moving, highly driven environments.
  • Ability to bring out the best in direct reports and broader team members.
  • Exposure to Midwest or Mid-Atlantic markets is considered a plus.
