Our mission is to empower these students to reach educational success, cultivate confidence, and shape brighter futures through consistent support and meaningful connections.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized, innovative, and detail-focused Director of Student Resources and Enrichment to become a vital part of our team. This role centers on overseeing student and family support programs, managing seasonal events, and ensuring the distribution of key resources. The position is full-time (40 hours weekly) with some option for remote work. The role offers a competitive salary based on experience, supplemented with benefits such as paid time off, dental and vision coverage, medical insurance, and a 401K plan.

Primary Duties

  • Coordinate all student events and projects, including Back-to-School initiatives, graduations, end-of-year parties, summer workshops, Thanksgiving and winter holiday programs, and other seasonal celebrations.
  • Lead student-focused initiatives such as Bash Boutique, holiday adoptions, moving-up ceremonies, and recognition events to enrich student experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with program teams to support special projects and maintain alignment with organizational goals.
  • Create and manage annual schedules for student programs and events to ensure prompt and effective execution.
  • Manage collections, drives, and donations related to programs, including organizing delivery logistics for donated goods.
  • Oversee planning and operational logistics for external events with school districts and community partners.
  • Maintain organization, inventory, and storage of all program materials and event supplies.
  • Ensure availability, planning, and distribution of student gifts, rewards, and incentives.
  • Supervise the preparation and allocation of supplies essential for students and their families.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to document program efforts through photos and videos, and maintain records.
  • Coordinate closely with program staff to ensure alignment of all student-facing activities with program objectives.
  • Participate in program meetings and maintain clear, timely communication with team members regarding activities and events.
  • Support partner engagement efforts and contribute to committees, collaborations, and special projects as required.
  • Conduct evaluations of event outcomes using post-event reviews and feedback to enhance future programming.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, communications, hospitality, or a comparable field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of management experience, preferably within nonprofit or educational settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capacity to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-moving environment.

Benefits and Work Environment

Best Foot Forward fosters a supportive and inspiring workplace that values growth and collaboration. Employees receive generous paid time off, comprehensive dental, vision, and medical insurance plans, plus participation in a 401K retirement plan. This is a salaried role reflecting experience and qualifications, with some remote work flexibility.
