Job description

Role Overview

Seekda is hiring a Director of Sales to lead commercial expansion for its hospitality technology platform. This is a remote, full-time position based in Germany and sits within Aspire Software, part of Valsoft Corporation. The role is designed for a hands-on sales leader who can both close business personally and build the systems needed for a scalable, predictable revenue engine.

Seekda helps hotels and hospitality businesses increase direct bookings, improve day-to-day operations, and enhance guest engagement. The company supports independent hotels and hospitality groups across Europe with software that strengthens competitiveness in a digital market.

The successful candidate will work closely with leadership across Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to shape commercial direction, improve sales performance, and broaden market reach across the DACH region and beyond.

About Aspire Software

Aspire Software, an operating group within Valsoft Corporation, acquires, develops, and grows software businesses focused on specific industries across the world. Each company keeps its entrepreneurial independence while gaining access to shared leadership, expertise, and operational support.

What You Will Be Responsible For

You will be expected to both generate revenue directly and create a stronger sales organization around you. The role combines hands-on selling, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Design and run outbound sales initiatives aimed at hotels and hospitality operators in the DACH market.
  • Develop and activate partner-led channels, including PMS providers, hospitality technology partners, and local industry relationships, to build a qualified pipeline.
  • Create account targeting plans, segmentation approaches, and outreach sequences.
  • Handle key customer discussions yourself, including demos, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Deliver consistently against pipeline creation and revenue goals.
  • Set up repeatable sales workflows, playbooks, and qualification standards.
  • Introduce structured pipeline management and forecasting routines.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline, accurate reporting, and clear sales operations practices.
  • Monitor and improve funnel performance such as activity volume, conversion rates, sales cycle length, and win rate.
  • Build outbound motions that can scale as the team expands.
  • Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, speed, and continuous improvement.
  • Coach a small sales team and reinforce execution standards.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and ramp-up of future sales hires.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews, deal coaching, and forecast meetings.
  • Contribute to pricing, packaging, positioning, and broader go-to-market discussions.
  • Bring customer and market feedback back to Product and other internal teams.
  • Work with Customer Support to ensure smooth handoffs and positive customer outcomes.
  • Help define the wider commercial operating model as the business grows.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 90 days, you should have a clear ideal customer profile, segmentation approach, and outbound plan in place. You should already be actively selling, participating in customer conversations, advancing live opportunities, and running weekly sales routines with reliable CRM and forecasting discipline. Early pipeline experiments through partners and marketing should also be underway, with stronger coordination between Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and Support.

Within 6 to 12 months, the goal is to have a predictable new-business pipeline and a repeatable outbound motion. You should also be driving better pipeline coverage, improved conversion rates, more accurate forecasting, and stronger alignment across commercial teams. The sales structure and coaching cadence should be established and operating effectively.

Required Experience and Background

  • 8 to 12 years of experience in B2B SaaS or software sales.
  • Proven success in outbound selling and acquiring new logos.
  • Background in building and scaling a sales function during a growth-stage phase.
  • Strong command of CRM management, forecasting, pipeline reviews, and sales performance metrics.
  • A practical, hands-on leadership style with a preference for working closely with customers and deals.
  • Experience guiding or coaching small sales teams.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Residence in Germany and comfort with a remote setup that includes occasional travel.

Preferred Background

  • Experience selling into hospitality, hotel technology, travel, or vertical SaaS businesses.
  • Familiarity with modern sales tools, including AI-enabled GTM automation and RevOps practices.
  • Exposure to founder-led or entrepreneurial environments.

Why Join Seekda

  • Opportunity to shape the commercial engine of a growing hospitality technology business.
  • High-ownership role with direct influence on growth and go-to-market strategy.
  • Entrepreneurial setting backed by the stability and long-term perspective of Valsoft.
  • Competitive compensation made up of base pay plus performance-linked commission.
  • Collaborative, ambitious leadership team committed to sustainable growth.
