About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Sales for the EMEA region to lead our Ireland hub and drive business growth across multiple markets. This role requires managing both direct and channel sales teams to create a scalable go-to-market model aligned with our global sales goals. The position involves directing the professional growth of the EMEA sales team while supporting broader organizational strategies.
The Director will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, enhancing operational efficiency, expanding existing accounts, and building new account pipelines. Strong collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including senior executives is essential to develop effective sales campaigns and surpass revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and meet EMEA revenue goals with consistent results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to implement regional go-to-market strategies that consider market maturity and customer requirements.
- Lead and develop high-performing sales teams through coaching and alignment with global sales practices.
- Establish and grow a comprehensive partner network to increase market penetration.
- Maintain disciplined forecasting, pipeline management, and commercial excellence.
- Support strategic enterprise deals with senior executive engagement and governance.
- Identify key markets, sectors, and verticals to prioritize for regional expansion.
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to optimize product packaging and demand generation efforts.
- Recruit, nurture, and retain top sales talent while fostering a culture of inclusivity and high performance.
- Provide regional market insights to global leaders to influence planning and product strategies.
Essential Qualifications
- Over 12 years of leadership experience in B2B and B2C SaaS sales, including more than 5 years managing teams across EMEA.
- Demonstrated success leading both direct and channel sales with consistent goal overachievement.
- Proven track record in managing sales teams and engaging mid-market to enterprise customers.
- Extensive experience developing partner ecosystems and executing channel programs.
- Strong knowledge of go-to-market strategies, sales forecasting, negotiation, and SaaS business metrics.
- Exceptional communication skills across all organizational levels, including C-suite, within complex global structures.
- Comprehensive understanding of key EMEA markets and related cultural and regulatory differences.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; German language skills are highly preferred.
- Experience scaling SaaS revenue beyond $100M ARR.
