Role Overview

The Director of Sales will spearhead growth initiatives across sectors including retail, cold chain, grocery, and foodservice while managing a nationwide sales team. This role is perfect for a motivated leader keen to advance their career in supply chain solutions within a leading manufacturing company specializing in pallets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and oversee a results-driven sales team to meet revenue goals and market expansion targets.
  • Implement effective sales strategies that enhance market share and deepen relationships with key customers.
  • Establish and nurture strategic alliances with national and large enterprise clients.
  • Ensure accurate sales forecasting, maintain pipeline health, and uphold accountability in sales performance.
  • Promote a customer-centric, solution-based selling style focused on value delivery.
  • Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Marketing, and Product departments to guarantee customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service by managing accounts proactively and resolving issues promptly.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and industry shifts to uncover opportunities and refine sales tactics.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or similar experience.
  • Over 10 years of advancing sales experience demonstrating consistent revenue growth.
  • Proven expertise in crafting and implementing successful sales growth plans.
  • Experience selling to retail, grocery, foodservice, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or comparable B2B fields is preferred.
  • Competency in CRM systems is essential; familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership in coaching and developing high-achieving sales teams.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual salary range from $175,000 to $200,000 plus bonus opportunities.
