About the Role

This position calls for a seasoned Director of Retail Operations who can speak English fluently and has Chinese language ability as an advantage. The role is centered on strengthening and scaling the company’s retail footprint in the United States. You will manage several store locations, improve sales outcomes, and support the opening of new stores while working closely with store teams to keep operations running smoothly and customers well served.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations across multiple U.S. retail stores and ensure sales targets are consistently achieved or exceeded.
• Create and roll out sales plans that support the company’s broader growth strategy.
• Manage store expansion initiatives, including identifying locations, assessing viability, and coordinating openings.
• Track store-level performance indicators and introduce improvement measures where needed.
• Maintain compliance with operational standards, accurate inventory management, and strong merchandising execution.
• Hire, train, and coach store managers and team members to build a high-performing workforce.
• Study market conditions and consumer trends to uncover business opportunities and stay competitive.
• Compile and share regular performance updates with senior leadership.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in retail operations management, including a minimum of 2 years overseeing multi-location or chain store operations.
• Demonstrated success in launching new stores and supporting retail expansion.
• Strong leadership capability with the ability to inspire, guide, and grow teams.
• Practical knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and sales performance analysis.
• Fluency in English is required; Chinese language proficiency is beneficial.
• Strong communication and analytical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Experience

• Background in retail categories such as apparel, beauty, accessories, toys, or similar products.
• Experience working across both physical retail and online-to-offline sales models.

Compensation

The monthly pay for this role is between $8,000 and $12,000.
