Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Director of Retail Operations who is proficient in English and Chinese to manage and expand our retail footprint in the United States. This position requires overseeing various store locations, enhancing sales results, and steering new store launches. The director will partner closely with store personnel to ensure operational excellence, superior customer interactions, and achievement of growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations across multiple retail outlets in the U.S. ensuring sales targets are achieved or surpassed.
• Design and implement sales strategies that align with the company's development goals.
• Lead expansion efforts including site selection, evaluation, and opening coordination.
• Track store performance indicators and develop improvement plans accordingly.
• Guarantee compliance with operational standards, maintain accurate inventory, and optimize merchandising.
• Hire, develop, and guide store managers and staff to enhance their performance.
• Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities and keep abreast of retail trends.
• Compile and present performance reports to senior management regularly.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of five years' experience in retail operations management, including at least two years overseeing multiple stores or chain operations.
• Proven expertise in launching new retail locations and driving expansion initiatives.
• Strong leadership qualities capable of inspiring and developing teams.
• Experience in inventory management, merchandising, and evaluating sales performance metrics.
• Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and adept at problem-solving.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (Green Card, U.S. citizenship, or valid work visa required).

Desirable Qualifications

• Background in retail sectors such as apparel, beauty products, accessories, or toys.
• Experience integrating in-store with online-to-offline (O2O) sales models.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $8,000 to $12,000 monthly.
