Position Overview
A leading national financial firm is searching for a Director of Recruiting to steer the talent acquisition strategy and execution. This role ensures a robust, efficient recruitment operation that fuels business expansion by delivering superior hiring results, nurturing proactive talent pipelines, collaborating closely with business leadership, and providing outstanding experiences for both candidates and stakeholders.
Work Schedule & Compensation
The position follows a hybrid working arrangement with four days onsite in New York, NY and one day remote weekly. Working hours are from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The base salary ranges from $120,000 to $170,000 annually, supplemented by a bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the firm’s recruiting strategy across leadership, advisory, business development, and operational areas.
- Build and expand a high-functioning recruitment team, establishing direct sourcing capabilities and proactive talent pipelines.
- Manage recruitment metrics including hiring outcomes, pipeline quality, process efficiency, and satisfaction levels among stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business unit leaders to ensure talent acquisition aligns with the organization's growth plans.
- Mentor and guide recruiting staff fostering accountability and continuous development.
- Utilize recruiting technology, data, and analytics to boost operational effectiveness, tracking, and strategic decisions.
- Enhance internal recruiting competencies while overseeing external recruitment partners when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
- Minimum of 10 years’ recruitment experience within professional services sectors focused on finance, accounting, and tax talent pools.
- Proven track record of successful recruitment across executive leadership, advisory, business development, and operational roles.
- Experience developing or refining recruitment structures and applying direct sourcing methods.
- Comprehensive knowledge of markets related to financial advisory, accounting, and tax professionals.
- Strong leadership capabilities including coaching, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Workday Recruiting, CRM systems, recruitment technologies, Microsoft Office Suite, and recruitment analytics tools.
