Committed Sports Network is a nationwide baseball scouting and recruiting organization focused on helping high school players reach the collegiate level. The company uses AI-based school matching, direct outreach to college coaches, player branding support, video strategy, and individualized recruiting guidance to improve each athlete’s visibility and chances of committing to college baseball. Built by former college athletes and grounded in real recruiting relationships, the organization aims to simplify the process for student-athletes and their families while helping players pursue their baseball goals.
The Director of Recruiting Operations will lead the Recruiting Department and be accountable for delivering a high-quality recruiting experience for every student-athlete. This person will oversee the Recruiting Fulfillment Team, manage recruiting strategy and service delivery for an active group of roughly 50 to 120 high school baseball athletes at a time, and work directly with college coaches nationwide. The role calls for a disciplined, organized leader who can develop people, execute recruiting plans, and thrive in a fast-moving, results-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
This position is responsible for running recruiting operations, guiding the team, and ensuring athletes receive consistent support from enrollment through college commitment.
- Direct the recruiting operations function and provide leadership to the department.
- Manage, coach, and hold accountable the Recruiting Fulfillment Team.
- Oversee recruiting strategy and service delivery for an active roster of about 50 to 120 high school baseball student-athletes.
- Lead onboarding discussions with new athletes and their families to explain expectations and the recruiting journey.
- Build customized target school lists using each athlete’s academics, athletic profile, location preferences, and recruiting objectives.
- Create recruiting plans tailored to player performance, current interest, and long-term goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with college coaches across NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, NAIA, and Junior College programs.
- Advocate for athletes through calls, email outreach, and follow-up with coaches.
- Evaluate player performance, video, stats, and recruiting updates to uncover new opportunities.
- Ensure every athlete has a clear strategy, defined next steps, and steady communication throughout the process.
- Run weekly check-in calls with athletes and families to share updates, guidance, and support.
- Represent CSN at tournaments, showcases, and recruiting events when athletes are competing.
- Lead weekly recruiting meetings and provide direction, coaching, and performance accountability to the team.
- Track recruiting progress, coach engagement, player activity, and overall department results.
- Work closely with video, marketing, and athlete success teams to increase exposure and recruiting opportunities.
- Continuously refine workflows, systems, and operational efficiency as the company grows.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate brings direct experience in baseball recruiting or a closely related baseball talent-development environment, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
- Background in college baseball recruiting, college coaching, scouting, or player development.
- Solid understanding of the college baseball recruiting landscape.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with team management and accountability.

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base pay is $50,000 to $60,000 depending on experience, with additional performance-based bonus potential.
