Director of Procurement - Residential Projects - Saudi Nationals

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for an accomplished Director of Procurement to lead their procurement functions within the residential project portfolio. This executive position demands strategic leadership to ensure acquisition of top-quality materials and services, cost efficiency, and adherence to company policies and regulatory frameworks.

Primary Responsibilities

• Formulate, implement, and oversee procurement strategies aligned with the goals of residential projects.
• Manage procurement planning, supplier sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier relations.
• Collaborate with project teams and departments to predict procurement needs and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Champion continuous improvements in procurement workflows to boost efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize value.
• Ensure full compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and corporate policies, including sustainability and local content standards.
• Lead and develop the procurement team, encouraging operational excellence and career development.
• Track market developments, assess supplier performance, and leverage industry innovations to identify new procurement opportunities.
• Compile and deliver procurement reports and performance metrics to senior management and stakeholders.
• Advocate for ethical sourcing practices and corporate social responsibility throughout procurement activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related fields; Master’s degree is preferred.
• Between 10 and 15 years of progressively responsible procurement experience, ideally within large residential construction or real estate developments.
• Proven expertise in crafting and executing procurement strategies.
• Strong negotiation capabilities with experience managing complex supplier contracts.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with procurement software and data analytics tools.
• Knowledge of sustainability initiatives and local content regulations is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is considered beneficial.
