About the Role
The Director of People Operations will be responsible for designing and running the operational backbone that supports a rapidly scaling, multi-entity business. This role focuses on HR systems, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee lifecycle processes to create a reliable and consistent experience across all brands in the portfolio.
Key Areas of Ownership
- Lead the full HRIS implementation across all operating companies, with Paylocity identified as the target platform.
- Oversee payroll administration across multiple entities and states for both hourly and salaried employees across 13+ brands.
- Shape and manage benefits programs, including administration and open enrollment for a distributed, multi-brand workforce operating in several states.
- Handle compensation administration, including salary structure design, merit review cycles, and incentive planning.
- Create and standardize employee lifecycle processes for current businesses as well as future acquisitions.
- Build, guide, and expand the People Operations team.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate brings deep HR operations experience and has worked in environments that are fast-moving, acquisitive, and highly growth-oriented. This person should be comfortable building infrastructure from the ground up, managing complex payroll and benefits operations, and ensuring strong compliance across multiple states.
