Job Overview
We are seeking a highly driven and well-organized Director of Partnerships responsible for managing individual, corporate, and foundation fundraising activities throughout Asia, focusing mainly on Singapore and Hong Kong. This role demands a proven fundraiser and excellent communicator capable of cultivating and maintaining donor relationships and securing donations of USD 25,000 or more. The position is part of the global development team and reports directly to the CEO, based in Singapore or Hong Kong, with travel up to 25% across Asia.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate globally to grow and diversify fundraising streams from individuals, trusts, foundations, and corporations across Asia, supporting all program areas.
- Consistently research and identify potential donors aligned with mission priorities to maintain a strong and varied pipeline.
- Secure grants and partnership funding annually while expanding regional funding partnerships.
- Develop and sustain strategic relationships with funders and prospects throughout Asia in cooperation with senior leadership.
- Work with the Director of Grants to prepare competitive proposals, reports, budgets, and related documents, ensuring timely submissions.
- Coordinate with Finance, Program, and MEAL teams to assure consistent messaging in all fundraising materials.
- Create compelling partnership proposals, pitch decks, and fundraising collateral with interdisciplinary input.
- Ensure fulfillment of funder engagement benefits and deliverable deadlines.
- Utilize Salesforce CRM consistently to track donor information and fundraising activities.
- Represent OneSky at regional conferences, meetings, site visits, and calls with stakeholders across Asia.
- Provide ongoing fundraising updates and reports to leadership and staff.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of global annual events.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key industry influencers and advocacy groups.
- Travel commitments of up to 25% across Asia.
- Carry out additional duties compatible with the role as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience securing funding from foundations and corporate partners.
- Proven record in obtaining major donations and building partnerships in multiple Asian markets.
- Deep knowledge of the philanthropic environments in Singapore, Hong Kong, and broader Asia.
- Experience managing multicultural relationships and stakeholders across countries.
- Preference for candidates with over 5 years of experience in senior roles.
- Exceptional project management capabilities.
- Familiarity with Salesforce NPSP or similar customer relationship management systems.
- Passion for early childhood education and care.
