Position Overview
The Director of Operations will own and improve the company’s operational engine, ensuring business systems and day-to-day workflows scale effectively. This leader will coordinate execution across IT, Customer Service, Fulfillment & Logistics, and U.S.-based Production to support company strategy efficiently.

Core Responsibilities
- Direct the daily output of IT, Customer Service, Fulfillment & Logistics, and U.S.-based Production teams while maximizing productivity and controlling costs.
- Create, track, and manage KPIs and SLA performance across operations.
- Identify process, software, and hardware gaps and implement improvements or structural changes where needed.
- Build, update, and maintain standardized operating procedures for present and future team members.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA requirements, applicable employment laws, and internal policies.
- Enable growth in current and new sales channels by aligning internal resources appropriately.
- Manage operations within budget, forecast support for new initiatives, and pursue cost-reduction opportunities.
- Improve payroll efficiency across a large group of hourly and entry-level employees.
- Work closely with senior leadership to balance operating spend with the company’s growth plan.
- Lead, coach, and develop managers overseeing IT, customer experience, fulfillment & logistics, and U.S. production in a hands-on leadership style.
- Promote a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and strong execution.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of strong operational talent.
- Coordinate priorities across Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Admin teams to ensure smooth internal service and collaboration.
- Guide the Business Systems Architect and other IT resources to use automation for reducing repetitive order acknowledgement and processing tasks.
- Evaluate and roll out a better solution for picking, packing, and shipping workflows.
- Plan and execute future systems integrations to bring additional 3PL partners into the fulfillment network.
- Explore practical AI-enabled improvements that can enhance operations across the business.
Experience and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related area is preferred, though equivalent experience may be accepted in place of a degree.
- At least 5 years of operations management experience in a fast-moving, global, distributed environment.
- Background supporting teams that use core business systems such as ERP, E-commerce, BI, and CRM platforms.
- Strong understanding of inventory movement and order flow across integrated systems.
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate major systems, build a business case, present to executives, secure approval, and deliver implementations that improve efficiency and lower costs.

Working Environment and Physical Requirements
This role is based in Longmont, Colorado and follows an in-office schedule. Work is primarily desk-based, but occasional hands-on tasks may be needed, such as unloading containers or reorganizing warehouse space. Travel to suppliers, vendors, and other office locations is required.
Compensation and Benefits
This is a Monday through Friday, full-time office role in Longmont, CO. The annual salary range is $120,000 to $150,000, with bonus potential of up to 10%. Benefits include up to 120 hours of paid time off in the first year, 12 paid holidays, insurance coverage available starting the first day of the month after a 30-day waiting period, and a 401(k) plan with company match after 90 days.
