Role Overview
We are seeking a Director of Operations to join our Mexico-based studio full-time on-site. This leadership position is responsible for directing daily operations across production, client services, and internal support. The role demands designing and refining operational processes, managing budgets and resources, and monitoring performance metrics to enhance efficiency and quality.
Key duties include leading cross-functional teams, scheduling and managing project timelines, ensuring customer satisfaction standards, analyzing operational data for continuous improvement, resolving escalated operational challenges, and partnering with senior management on strategic growth plans. The Director will also implement policies ensuring compliance with local regulations, fostering a culture emphasizing safety, accountability, and quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in operations management encompassing workflow optimization, process design, and performance monitoring.
- Strong analytical abilities capable of interpreting data, identifying patterns, and making informed decisions.
- Proven team leadership skills including coaching, performance assessment, and nurturing collaborative environments.
- Solid financial acumen in budgeting, cost management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Customer-focused mindset with aptitude for maintaining satisfaction and managing escalations effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Management, or related discipline; higher qualifications advantageous.
- Background in creative studios or production settings preferred, especially with exposure to project-driven workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Spanish required and proficiency in English is highly valued.
- Willingness and ability to work on-site in Mexico, collaborating efficiently with both local and international stakeholders.
