Job description
Role Overview
The Director of Membership Sales will lead the membership sales function for LUV Car Wash and supervise Regional Sales Trainers across the company’s markets. This role is focused on growing membership revenue, lowering churn, and delivering strong results in customer acquisition and retention.

Travel requirement: Up to 50% travel
What You’ll Do
- Create and roll out sales plans, tactics, and action steps that increase membership sales and expand the customer base.
- Take ownership of membership performance and churn reduction by setting targets, monitoring KPIs, and driving accountability across locations.
- Lead, coach, and oversee Regional Sales Trainers to build a strong, high-performing sales organization.
- Work with site teams to understand customer needs, strengthen member relationships, and shape retention strategies for each market.
- Make sure locations use current and effective selling methods to grow memberships and build sales pipelines.
- Track membership data in real time and introduce proactive steps to reduce churn and improve member lifetime value.
- Partner with the Director of Training to design and deliver training sessions that improve sales, service, cross-selling, and objection-handling skills.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback while helping keep sales training programs current and effective.
- Support marketing initiatives and help Sales Advisors understand how to apply them in the field.
- Stay informed on market trends and competitive conditions, and share insights that may affect strategy and budget decisions.
- Represent the company professionally and ethically while following industry standards and company best practices.
- Develop General Managers into day-to-day sales coaches and put systems in place that help sustain performance.
- Ensure sales teams have a strong understanding of all membership products and offerings.
Requirements
Education: A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience: Background as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales and marketing director; experience leading and developing direct reports, including field sales teams or regional trainers; and hands-on work with membership or subscription sales, including churn analysis and retention planning.
Core skills and abilities: Ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at every level, including executive leadership; capability to manage the sales cycle from planning through closing; skill in explaining product value and differentiators; ability to compare offerings against competitors; strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills; excellent spoken and written communication; a consistent record of meeting or exceeding targets; and experience turning membership metrics such as growth, churn, and retention into practical action plans.
Additional Information
This is an exempt, full-time onsite leadership position based in Gilbert, AZ. The role involves direct supervision of Regional Sales Trainers and requires regular travel of up to 50%.
