About Success.co
Success.co delivers the EOS® software platform designed for companies utilizing the Entrepreneurial Operating System. Built without unnecessary complexity, our fast, user-friendly product is officially licensed by EOS Worldwide. Founded by industry veterans Philipp Maucher and Peter Coppinger, we are lean, growth-driven, and focused on genuine customer impact. Currently, our marketing team consists of one marketing manager and hands-on founders; we're searching for a leader to guide and expand our marketing efforts.
Position Overview
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Marketing will architect and lead the marketing function. While Boston-area candidates are preferred to support regular travel and in-person events, remote applicants across North America will be considered if exceptionally qualified. The salary range is $145,000 to $175,000 per year, depending on experience and adjusted to local market rates.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement overall marketing strategy centered on customer data and audience needs rather than organizational hierarchy.
- Refine and maintain a compelling, consistent brand voice and presence across all touchpoints.
- Take ownership of planning and executing events including conferences, sponsorships, and community gatherings, driving engagement and brand loyalty.
- Foster a vibrant community of product advocates who actively promote Success.co organically among peers.
- Oversee content production such as newsletters and podcasts, employing advanced tools for efficient, high-quality output.
- Sharpen product positioning to clearly communicate benefits to target audiences.
- Create and optimize growth campaigns leveraging modern technologies and artificial intelligence for efficiency.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and customer relationships that align with company objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and grow the marketing team, including the existing marketing manager and future hires, promoting cross-disciplinary collaboration and AI literacy.
- Design and expand the marketing technology stack to support scalable campaigns and analytics.
- Manage the marketing budget and performance metrics, transparently reporting successes and areas for improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum seven years of marketing experience, including significant roles within B2B SaaS companies.
- Proven history of either establishing marketing functions from scratch or serving as a key strategic partner to senior marketing leadership in fast-paced startups.
- Demonstrated success building owned audiences through newsletters, podcasts, or social media with measurable conversion outcomes.
- Experience managing and generating revenue through events programs.
- Comfortable and effective as a public representative of a brand, including appearances on stage, video, and professional networks.
- Broad marketing expertise with deep specialization in at least two areas such as brand & content, community & events, or product marketing.
- Experience hiring, managing, and collaborating with marketers, contractors, and agencies.
- Strong proficiency with contemporary marketing tools and AI technologies for content creation, campaign execution, and data analysis; capable of mentoring team members in these areas.
- Adaptability to lean organizational structures requiring scrappy, hands-on approaches.
- A genuine passion for our mission and product beyond financial incentives.
Why Join Success.co?
- Opportunity to own and shape the entire marketing function from the ground up.
- Direct influence on company revenue and customer retention without bureaucratic delays.
- A beloved product praised by customers, contributing to meaningful and enjoyable work.
- A remote-first, asynchronous work culture supporting flexibility and thoughtful collaboration.
- Room for personal and professional growth in alignment with company expansion.
- Close collaboration with a supportive and engaged CEO who prioritizes customer success.
