About BAMKO
BAMKO ranks among the top 10 companies in the branded merchandise industry, which is valued at $25 billion, and is the fastest-growing organization within the top 50. As a wholly owned division of Superior Group of Companies (NASDAQ: SGC), BAMKO collaborates with Fortune 500 firms and emerging mid-market companies to deliver branded merchandise programs worldwide, supported by an in-house creative team and the proprietary company store platform, UBE.
Role Overview
The Director of Marketing will take full ownership of BAMKO's paid media and demand generation strategies across various buyer segments, focusing on enterprise and mid-market accounts. Reporting to the EVP, Marketing, this role demands a hands-on approach in managing platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn, and HubSpot. The position requires day-to-day campaign management and optimization while shaping how BAMKO engages different types of buyers.
Key Responsibilities
- Devise and implement an effective paid media strategy across multiple channels including Google, LinkedIn, and programmatic networks, balancing brand building with direct response goals for both B2B and fast-moving smaller buyers.
- Oversee quarterly and annual media planning, manage budgets and forecast spending across paid channels.
- Collaborate closely with the EVP to define buyer segments and tailor acquisition strategies accordingly.
- Regularly assess campaign effectiveness and proactively recommend data-driven adjustments when tactics do not meet criteria.
- Build, manage, and optimize paid search and social campaigns personally, maintaining direct ownership of outcomes.
- Apply strong performance marketing insights especially targeting smaller business segments where conversion speed and clarity are critical.
- Lead landing page optimization initiatives in partnership with website and creative teams to eliminate conversion barriers.
- Support lead qualification efforts using HubSpot, working with marketing operations to eventually transition full ownership.
- Conduct structured testing on advertising copy, audience targeting, bidding strategies, and landing pages with clear hypotheses and documented outcomes.
- Produce weekly and monthly reports involving spend, lead volume and quality, cost per lead, and provide transparent evaluations of marketing efforts.
- Ensure accurate attribution tracking is established across all campaigns to enable reliable performance measurement.
- Partner with sales leadership to validate lead quality, close the loop on conversions, and refine targeting based on actual win/loss data.
- Work closely with the EVP to prioritize marketing projects and sequencing as the marketing function expands.
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to secure appropriate assets and messaging for campaigns.
- Foster trust with the sales team through delivery of qualified leads and clear communication about marketing activities and rationale.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of seven years' experience in digital marketing with hands-on expertise in paid search and paid social channels, preferably in a B2B setting.
- Proven success in establishing and managing performance marketing programs from inception, including building campaigns in systems lacking mature infrastructure.
- Capability to personally manage campaigns at an advanced level, knowing when to scale, systematize, or delegate to agencies or specialists.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Google Ads and LinkedIn performance dynamics, including automated bidding, audience signals, and algorithm behavior.
- Experience targeting small to mid-size businesses or direct-to-consumer audiences, focusing on quick and efficient conversion routes.
- Honest assessment of underperforming tactics paired with practical, data-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms and understanding of how marketing data integrates with CRM and sales metrics.
- Innovative mindset energized by creating new systems and processes rather than only refining existing ones.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present to senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation will be commensurate with skills and experience. BAMKO provides a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, short and long-term disability, various paid time off options, and a retirement plan with employer contributions.

The company provides accommodations for pregnancy-related conditions when requested with appropriate medical advice. Personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, compensation, and training are conducted fairly and without discrimination on any legally protected basis.
