Role Overview
The Director of Marketing & Communications will spearhead the formulation and implementation of the corporate marketing and communications strategy. This leadership role involves elevating the FGM brand, managing corporate communications including digital and public relations, driving sales enablement, and collaborating closely with executive management to fuel business growth and maintain consistent messaging throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft and lead execution of comprehensive marketing and communications strategies aligned with corporate goals and business development efforts.
- Manage all internal and external communication channels, including digital outreach, website content, social media, email campaigns, executive messaging, customer communications, and media relations.
- Direct the creation of marketing materials such as collateral, presentations, research publications, trade show displays, and sales support resources ensuring brand alignment.
- Work cross-functionally with senior leadership and departments to discover marketing opportunities, support strategic projects, and convey important corporate updates.
- Plan and coordinate corporate events like conferences and trade shows, handling booth design, logistics, promotional efforts, vendor management, and travel arrangements for sales and executive teams.
- Oversee marketing budgets, manage vendor relationships including agencies and partners, and monitor campaign effectiveness to enhance future performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible marketing or communications experience, ideally including leadership or supervisory roles.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Proven leadership and project management skills with an ability to juggle multiple strategic initiatives effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience tailoring messages to executives, customers, and employees.
- Strong grasp of branding principles, digital marketing tactics, content strategy, public relations, and B2B marketing concepts.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, CRM systems, web content management, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools.
Supervisory Duties
- Manage and mentor the Marketing & Communications Specialist by assigning tasks, prioritizing work, coaching, evaluating performance, and fostering professional growth.
- Supervise external creative and marketing vendors including agencies, designers, photographers, and printers to guarantee quality deliverables and punctual project completion.
