Coryell Health is an expanding, full-service healthcare system located in Gatesville, Texas, serving Central Texas communities. Beyond a typical rural hospital, it provides surgical services, advanced imaging, specialty and primary care, therapy, EMS, and senior living. Facilities include clinics in Gatesville, Waco, Temple, Goldthwaite, Copperas Cove, Moody, and McGregor, with a new expanded clinic under construction in Waco.

Position Overview

The Director of Marketing will take full ownership of the organization’s brand and lead marketing efforts across strategy, communications, digital and social media, website, public relations, and community engagement spanning all locations and service lines. This role involves leading an internal marketing staff member and managing the external marketing agency while collaborating directly with executive leadership to enhance recognition of services and providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing strategies aligned with growth and service-specific objectives.
• Maintain brand consistency and messaging across all platforms and sites.
• Oversee digital marketing initiatives, website content development, and social media strategies and outcomes.
• Handle online reputation management including Google Business Profile and review responses.
• Supervise the Marketing Assistant/Clinical Liaison and manage relationships with outside marketing agencies and vendors.
• Coordinate advertising, direct mailing campaigns, signage, sponsorships, photography, and video production.
• Lead marketing efforts for community events and new facility launches, including the new Waco clinic.
• Administer marketing budgets, schedules, and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in marketing, preferably within healthcare.
• Proven ability to manage personnel and external agencies or vendors.
• Strong skills in digital marketing, web management, social media, and reputation control.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines across several locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or related fields is preferred.
• Holder of a valid Texas driver’s license with availability to travel throughout Central Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $100,000 annually, dependent on experience.
