Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced academic leader to spearhead the execution of a scientifically grounded learning system known as 2 Hour Learning, which enables students to achieve double the learning progress in only two hours per day. This position demands a proven record of leading educational strategy effectively, demonstrating tangible measurable outcomes, and commanding respect as an authoritative advocate in the academic community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design academic frameworks that translate learning science principles into practical guidelines for curriculum development, motivation systems, and application tools.
  • Conduct comprehensive academic performance reviews alongside Heads of Academics to maintain alignment, accountability, and results-oriented focus within school teams.
  • Utilize data analytics, stakeholder feedback, and direct observation to evaluate academic ecosystems, identify primary barriers to rapid learning, and recommend precise improvement actions.
  • Ensure strategic consistency through planning cycles, regular feedback, and milestone tracking to keep student learning goals at the core.
  • Act as the chief spokesperson for 2 Hour Learning before senior executives and governmental educational authorities to promote systemic reform based on rigorous educational science.

Excluded Activities

  • This role does not involve working on isolated curriculum projects without broad systemic impact.
  • The incumbent will not conduct purely theoretical research disconnected from actual student performance or educational operations.
  • Accountability for learning outcomes will not be delegated to mid-level managers or external parties.
  • Relying solely on academic reputation or theory to persuade skeptical stakeholders is not part of this role.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of an advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years in leadership roles within academic institutions or EdTech companies, responsible for hiring, supervising, coaching, and making termination decisions within teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in enhancing student learning outcomes and maintaining academic performance standards.
  • Experience implementing AI or emerging technologies to customize and improve educational delivery (e.g., personalized or adaptive learning, AI agents).
  • Proven ability managing sizable academic teams comprising 50 or more personnel involved in curriculum, instruction, or assessment execution.
  • Direct professional engagement with students, educators, or school administrators.

Additional Details

  • The employment is structured under an independent contractor agreement managed by Crossover.
  • Compensation is set at $200 USD per hour, totaling an annual package of approximately $400,000 USD, based on 40 working hours weekly and 50 working weeks annually.
  • Payments are disbursed on a weekly basis.
