Job description

About Social Capital

Social Capital is a professional community launched in 2024 by Filip Simonovski and Margaux Demeyer. It brings together people working in policy, B2B communications, B2C communications, and marketing. The organization’s mission is to connect the EU policy ecosystem with Belgium’s creative scene so that individuals and businesses can communicate more effectively.

Members benefit from practical storytelling guidance, collaborative strategy discussions, and events that mix policy insight with hands-on marketing know-how. Social Capital also hosts workshops, creative walks, and networking meet-ups in Brussels, creating opportunities for people from different backgrounds to meet and collaborate. The community maintains an active presence on LinkedIn and Instagram and continues to grow with new events and membership options.

  • Practical knowledge of IT service management methods such as ITIL, including incident, change, and problem management.
  • Proven ability to support users effectively, troubleshoot technical issues, and drive root-cause resolution.
  • Knowledge of security best practices, identity and access management, and compliance-aware operations in remote or distributed setups.

  • Experience using operational metrics to guide decisions, manage budgets, and select the right tools and platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience. Experience in a startup, community, or events-focused organization is an added advantage.
