Position Overview
Copley Hospital, situated in Morrisville/Stowe, Vermont, seeks a Director of Human Resources to lead the hospital's HR operations. This pivotal role oversees operational, financial, programmatic, and employee-related activities for the HR department, ensuring all endeavors align with the hospital’s strategic goals. Primary duties include managing daily HR operations, budget oversight, financial governance, and labor relations, including interactions with bargaining units. The Director collaborates with multiple stakeholders to coordinate HR functions across the institution.

Compensation
The role provides a salary ranging from $110,000 to $125,000 annually, adjusted according to experience, education, skills, and market factors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead union relations by managing contract negotiations and grievance processes.
- Implement new Human Resource Information Systems and time/attendance tracking platforms.
- Exhibit expertise across all HR lifecycle components.

Educational and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, human resources management, or related fields is required.
- A Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- At least seven years of leadership experience within health system management.
- Experience managing HR projects and implementing time and attendance systems is an asset.
- Certification as Professional Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR), or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) is desirable.
