About Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates
Carolina Neurosurgery & Spine Associates (CNSA) is a leading neurosurgery and spine practice committed to clinical innovation and patient-centered excellence. As we expand and integrate more deeply with PracticeCore through a managed services organization (MSO) model, we are seeking a skilled and strategic Director of Human Resources to spearhead our HR initiatives throughout this transformative period.
Role Overview
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for managing all facets of human resources across CNSA’s clinics. This includes oversight of employee relations, recruitment and onboarding of both staff and physicians, benefits administration, compliance, and organizational development. The successful candidate will be a proactive leader capable of integrating strategic vision with effective execution in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct HR strategy and operations across CNSA’s multiple clinic sites.
- Collaborate with executives to ensure alignment of HR efforts with overall practice and MSO objectives.
- Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, providing a seamless experience for candidates and new hires.
- Lead initiatives to manage organizational change and cultivate a constructive, adaptable workplace culture during periods of growth and integration.
- Enhance leadership development programs, and employee engagement and retention plans.
- Administer benefits, ensure compliance, and oversee HR policies across multi-state locations.
- Work closely with PracticeCore and external partners to optimize HR functions within the MSO framework.
- Advise departmental leaders on employee relations, workforce planning, and managing performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
- Over 7 years of progressive leadership experience in HR, ideally within healthcare or multi-location practices.
- Expertise in change management, employee relations, and organizational development.
- Demonstrated success in physician recruitment and assimilation.
- Familiarity with Managed Services Organizations or similar healthcare integration models.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership abilities with a focus on people-first management.
- Preferred certifications include PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP.
