About the Role
NOORI is seeking an experienced Director of Growth Marketing to spearhead the next stage of member acquisition for a distinguished premium membership community. This role is remote, requiring candidates to be located on the East Coast, preferably New York City.
This leadership position entails directing strategies to expand and diversify the pipeline of qualified prospective members through digital acquisition, partnerships, referrals, CRM, lifecycle marketing, and additional channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and lead comprehensive member acquisition strategies.
- Supervise a compact internal marketing team and coordinate with external agency partners to maintain alignment with growth objectives.
- Develop scalable and varied streams of qualified leads beyond current community channels.
- Evaluate existing lead sources, audience targeting, campaign performance, and conversion methods.
- Construct a clear growth roadmap emphasizing both immediate and long-term opportunities.
- Manage digital acquisition across paid search, paid social media, CRM, lifecycle initiatives, and relevant channels.
- Identify, cultivate, and leverage partnerships that attract new qualified audiences.
- Expand referral systems, community engagement, and member-driven acquisition programs.
- Implement reporting mechanisms covering cost per lead, application, member, conversion rates, channel quality, and ROI.
- Collaborate closely with Sales to ensure marketing efforts translate into membership conversions.
- Partner with Support and Member Experience to enhance post-membership engagement.
- Utilize social media as both an acquisition and community growth tool.
- Communicate clear updates, insights, proposals, and subsequent steps to company leadership.
- Lend efforts towards building a larger growth marketing team as the company scales.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 8 years in growth or digital marketing, customer acquisition, or similar domains.
- Demonstrated ability to build, manage, and enhance customer acquisition funnels.
- Extensive familiarity with paid search, paid social, CRM, lifecycle marketing, analytics, audience targeting, social media, and conversion strategies.
- Experience creating acquisition channels beyond conventional paid media.
- Background in partnerships, referral programs, or community-led growth initiatives.
- Solid understanding of key metrics including cost per lead, application, member, conversion rates, and return on investment.
- Proven expertise in managing external agency partners and ensuring accountability for outcomes.
- Experience in managing and mentoring direct reports.
- Strong analytical proficiency with a talent for translating data into actionable priorities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and written skills.
- Ability to clearly articulate project statuses, completed tasks, tests, and forthcoming plans.
- High self-motivation, ownership, and consistent follow-through.
- Curious and insightful about customers, products, and the entire membership lifecycle.
- Preferred experience in luxury, hospitality, memberships, or premium consumer markets.
- Proficient with Google Analytics, CRM tools, social media platforms, and performance reporting systems.
Additional Information
This position reports directly to the department head. The team holds in-person meetings approximately weekly or several times per month; applicants should be comfortable with the in-person attendance commitment.
The hiring process involves initial screening conversations, interviews with managers, a paid marketing exercise to assess strategic and analytical capabilities, final discussions with the marketing team and leadership, references, and offer issuance.
