Role Overview
Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay is looking for a strong hospitality leader to head its Food & Drinks operation. This position is responsible for strengthening the hotel’s dining experience, improving guest satisfaction, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting strong financial results across multiple venues.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Setting the overall Food & Beverage direction to improve profitability, guest satisfaction, service quality, and outlet visibility.
- Overseeing the department’s administrative and operational activities, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and policy execution.
- Controlling food, beverage, and labor expenses while also helping grow revenue through fresh marketing ideas and service improvements.
- Building a motivated, high-performing team through coaching, performance management, retention efforts, development, and recognition.
- Maintaining strict compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-related requirements to protect guests and team members.
Experience and Profile Required
The successful candidate should bring at least 3 years of experience as a Director of Food & Beverage or Director of Food & Drinks in a luxury hotel setting. Prior responsibility for at least 5 restaurants and bars within a luxury hotel or integrated resort is necessary. Experience in the Gulf region is required, and candidates with UAE and Qatar experience will be preferred. The role calls for strong leadership, commercial awareness, and a consistent record of creating outstanding guest experiences. You should also be comfortable leading large, diverse teams and improving revenue while preserving luxury standards.
